Perfect getting in the way of Good [& Useful]
I'll start in the middle instead of finding a perfect entry point.
I set out to share more about Good & Useful, investing, communities and so much more. But I got stalled. I let figuring out what the right “beginning” point was get in the way.
I asked the members of Angels.VC how they approach writing, and I came away with a short list of practical concepts:
Achievable: Start small with goals that are do-able
Accountable: Find folks with shared goals and check in with them, share a draft for review, post next topic
Practice: Do it regularly, regardless of product, to build up repetitions and low-stakes opportunities
I’ve got a long list of topics to write about and a medium set of substack drafts already started. Since I couldn’t find the perfect beginning, I’ll start with what’s top of mind, keep it short, and see how it grows.
